If your business is based in Bassetlaw, has less than 50 employees and you have an innovative idea or product that you need help to launch, you could be in the running to win £5,000 for your business.
That's of course, if you're brave enough to step into the Bassetlaw Dragons' Den!
COULD YOURS BE BASSETLAW’S NEXT ‘BIG’ IDEA?
Bassetlaw District Council and its team of Dragons are once again looking to invest in the district’s next ‘big’ idea and would like to help home grown companies fulfil their potential.
After the successful first-ever Bassetlaw Dragons' Den in 2017 the event returns in 2019 looking for the next Bassetlaw-based businesses or entrepreneurs with a brilliant new idea that they'd like to develop or launch.
If that's you and you employ less than 50 people Bassetlaw District Council would love to hear from you!
THE OPPORTUNITY
The 3 businesses with the best ideas will have the chance to pitch for a £5,000 prize at the live Bassetlaw Dragons' Den event in March.
Cllr Jo White, Cabinet Member for Regeneration, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is just starting out in the world of business or for a company that has hit on the next big idea and need a cash boost.”
“We’d like to see applications from all sectors and, after helping our first winner two years ago, I’m looking forward to seeing what innovative ideas our local businesses will be pitching to our panel of Dragons.”
The successful companies who make it through to the final stage will be required to pitch their idea, make a creative presentation and field questions from the four Dragons, who are all successful business leaders from across Bassetlaw.
This year's event is hosted by Bassetlaw District Council and supported by the North Notts BID.

Deadline for entries is by 5pm on Friday 15th February 2019 and the Dragons' Den event will take place in front of a live audience on Wednesday 6th March at 5.30pm at Worksop Town Hall.
