Saturday 28 & Sunday 29 September  11am - 4pm

Experience the sights and sounds of wartime Britain with a fantastic multi period living history weekend.  Take a Walk down memory lane, dress up in your vintage finery, chat to Knowledgeable re-enactors or just stroll around and enjoy that Dad's Army vibe!

Event activities commence at 11am - 4pm - (Gates open for parking from 9am)

Attractions and Activities Include

Wartime Airfield
Visit or wartime airfield where we have the one and only hand built, unique full size reproduction of a Spitfire MKIX on display along with a WW1 Fighter Aircraft. We will also have Aero-Engine Ground running displays throughout the day.

Weapons and survival
See demonstrations of wartime armoury and weaponry, talk to experts and even see what a war time trench was like.

Classic Vehicles
Take a turn around many of our classic cars and military vehicles that we will have on display around the ground.

Living History
Take a walk though our living history camp where you will be able to see authentic war time camps, see how they used to live and survive in times of war.

Sing and Dance
Dress up in your finest and have a sing and dance with our fantastic entertainers, Miss Trixie Holiday, and the fabulous trio, The Spitfires who will also be performing a 1940’s fashion show.

Eat and Drink
Sample tea and cake from any of our catering outlets, or even pre book your traditional carvery or afternoon tea at the Lord Savile’s Kitchen.
