Hodsock Snowdrops 2020

at Hodsock Priory near Worksop

Saturday 8th to Sunday 16th February 2020
10am - 3pm (last entry)

Surrounding Hodsock Priory itself are 5 acres of beautiful formal gardens and in February and March it's quite a sight with millions of snowdrops and other gorgeous winter blooms followed in April and May with carpets of bluebells.

The walk is perfect for all ages on a crisp wintry day, wrap up warm and wander among four million snowdrops, and winter flowering plants and shrubs with glorious colours and fragrance. The signposted walk through Horse Pasture winds through spectacular carpets of snowdrops which really encourage the feeling that spring will soon unfurl from winter.

Regular visitors will enjoy the back to basics beauty and atmosphere of this season’s Snowdrops at Hodsock, remembering the simplicity of the days when the Estate first opened to the public in 1991. The Hodsock Estate will open daily for the short season with the family offering a simple, pared-back experience – no marquee tearoom, plant sale, or large coach parties – just birdsong, peace and quiet, with a gentle walk in the gardens and woods.

Our entry prices for 2020 are Adults £4, Friends of Hodsock £2 (with a valid membership card), under 18's £1, under 5's FREE, wheelchair users FREE, HHA members FREE (with a valid membership card). (Cash only at the Kiosk).

Admission tickets can be purchased on the day of your visit from the Kiosk upon arrival, or online in advance for Adult tickets which can be used on any date between Saturday 8th & Sunday 16th February 2020.
