The Hidden World of Sherwood Forest

Sundays - 2, 9, 16, 23 February & 1 March   11.30am - 1pm

Join Steve, our old man of the woods, on a journey to discover life in the forest, where people, wildlife and legend meet.

A journey through Sherwood Forest cannot be complete without experiencing the interconnection firsthand between its thousand year history and its important biodiversity and complex habitats.

As the seasons change, every walking experience unearths something new and hidden.  This exposure from exploring the Forest can have a positive effect on our health, mood and creativity.

Around the Forest there will many opportunities to capture these moments through photography, together with time spent absorbing the hidden magic of an ancient woodland that fascinates our senses of sight, sound, smell and touch.

This walk will take you on a wander around the forest, and will last approximately one and a half hours. Please wrap up warm and wear suitable footwear; it may be slippery.

Please note this walk is for adults only.

Booking is not compulsory, but advised to avoid disappointment.

To book in advance via the Sherwood Forest website or pop into the Visitor Centre.

£5.00 per adult (RSPB Members)
