SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY

Small Business Saturday is a nationwide event to support, inspire and promote the UK’s five million small businesses and is the UK’s most successful small business campaign.

Now in its fifth year, Small Business Saturday nationwide campaign is being held on Saturday December 1st this year.  Last year Small Business Saturday saw £748m spent on the day with small businesses across the UK.

 

All sorts of workshops and events take place during the year and the special Small Business Saturday National Bus Tour is returning this autumn.  The aim is to meet businesses, offer help and advice, run mentoring workshops and distribute free marketing materials.
Stop-off locations will be announced soon.

Over 80% of local councils supported the campaign, giving considerable national reach into local communities The campaign is totally free to participate and any small business can get involved. From one-manbands, high growth office based businesses, tradesmen to social media gurus.

The campaign also delivers help and advice alongside opportunities to connect with other small businesses. In short, Small Business Saturday exists to support, inspire and promote small businesses.
